Vocational Graded Ballet

The Vocational Graded syllabus is the continuation of classical ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance’s Graded Syllabus where pointe work for females is introduced for the first time.

This syllabus has been designed to give the necessary training to students wishing to study seriously with a possible view to following a career in dance or dance related subjects. At this level students are required to attend a mininum of three ballet lessons and one body conditioning class a week.

Jazz

Although not as technical as ballet these classes are high energy and fun. Students also have the opportunity to participate in ATOD jazz examinations.

Contemporary

Contemporary dance draws on modern dance techniques as well as newer philosophies of movement that depart from classical dance techniques. This form of dance encourages freedom of expression, strength and suppleness and the creation of innovative movement.
